Army National Guard

The Army National Guard, established in 1636, is a community-focused military service branch that provides emergency response, domestic operations, and combat missions support, ensuring the security and defense of the United States. With its vision of a ready, resilient, and rapidly responsive force, its mission is to provide combat resources to preserve peace, protect life and property, and promote national security. Although it falls under the U.S. Department of Defense, the Army National Guard has units in all 50 states, three territories, and the District of Columbia.
