Naval Nuclear Laboratory (FMP), owned by the U.S. government and operated by Fluor Marine Propulsion (FMP), is a leading research and development institution for the nation's naval nuclear propulsion program since its establishment in 1946. The organization provides a comprehensive range of nuclear propulsion services, including engineering, design, and technical support for the U.S. Navy’s submarines and aircraft carriers. Headquartered at Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, it also has operations in Niskayuna, NY; Ballston Spa, NY; Idaho Falls, ID and Goose Creek, SC.
